Printable Sunday School Games Teachers Actually Use

June 18, 2026 · Holy Bible Shop

The best Sunday school games are simple to prep, easy to lead, and tie straight back to Scripture. Here are the printable game types teachers reach for again and again, and how to use each one well.

1. Bible bingo

The all-purpose favorite — review the books of the Bible, a story, or the fruit of the Spirit while kids play. Low prep, high energy. See our Bible Bingo & Games.

2. Bible trivia

Split the class into teams and ask question cards from the lesson. Great for older kids and youth group. (See our Bible trivia questions.)

3. Memory-verse games

Turn the week's verse into a matching, fill-in-the-blank or relay game so it sticks by Sunday. Pair with printable Scripture cards.

4. Story review & coloring

After teaching, let younger children retell the story through a coloring page or sequencing activity — see Devotionals & Coloring.

Tips for leaders

  • Keep rounds short and celebrate every winner.
  • Print extras so no child is left out; laminate to reuse all season.
  • Always close by connecting the game to one Bible truth.
